That conversation on cox_and_co which I mentioned yesterday (which continues out of control! I've still not finished reading it all!) caused me to reread An Ideal Husband, by Irene Adler. I read it a few years ago and had forgotten that in fact it has hot f/f slash, and women dressing as men. I've got to admit I usually don't read f/f, but for some reason it always works better for me when they are passing as men. I'm not sure why this should be. Probably the easiest answer is that I'm fucked in the head.

And completely unrelatedly, mollyrazor mentioned something which I noticed on Sunday when I went shopping - Hannaford has greatly expanded their gluten free selections and awareness.

(no subject)

Oh man I have like crazy amounts of responding to do to people. Top of my list has to be this woman I went to high school with who's written me a couple of long emails through Facebook and I did the 'please write my email address because Facebook sucks to respond through' thing. She did, and now I have to follow through. And it's not that I don't want to write, I'm just feeling swamped. Why is devoting an hour or more to writing fandom meta so much more interesting than talking about life with an old friend?

Right now, time to sleep. Tomorrow I have to be productive. And hook up my new old speakers - my coworker got new ones and gave me her old ones. :)
