"Food is the cornerstone upon which his career is based upon."

Okay, I know they didn't need two 'upons' in that sentence. I would prefer to see Food is the cornerstone upon which his career is based, but I can't think of why it shouldn't be Food is the cornerstone which his career is based upon. Can anyone tell me if it's just a matter of what you like the sound of, or is it really incorrect to finish up a sentence with 'upon'?

I've been kind of good, today, did 2 miles on the treadmill, stretched and lifted weights - and that really sucks up my morning when I do all of that. I also cleaned the sink in the bathroom, and have a laundry in, but it's still running and I have to leave right now. :P I did put away the laundry Eor did last night. I was falling asleep when he took it out of the dryer.

Yesterday was the most boring day, even though I got to work at a bunch of different spots around the building. The change of scene was nice, but it was dull getting stuck for a while in a place where there was literally no work to be done. The Lead I was with had got hold of his friend's phone and spent his time reprogramming it in all kinds of ways that will surprise her evilly when she goes to use it. When she goes to call her Dad it'll give her the hotline for reporting that you've seen a UFO, and her Mom's number has been changed to a phone sex number (he did use the 800 numbers so that she won't automatically be charged).

(I think I incorrectly gave Eor the impression that the Lead was actually doing this when he could have been working, which wasn't actually the case, but then when we could have been working he still didn't want to do anything, so I was a little disappointed in him. Okay, more than a little. I told him he was the laziest person ever.)
The friggin idiots at UPS somehow deliverd a package to our old address. Eor found out about it, phoned me at work and asked me to go over. I put in a leave request and bugged out as quickly as I could, broke the speed limit all the way over, and arrived just in time to see the guy who stole it, I'm pretty sure. As I got out of the car I heard him curse under his breath, and he went to the far side of the porch and tried to pretend he was just leaning on the rail having a smoke or on his cell or something - keeping his face turned away from the light. I asked him if he'd seen a package and he just shook his head violently, wouldn't look at me. I was baffled as to what to do, half convinced he had it and not wanting to bother him if he was actually in the middle of crying or something. After ringing a few bells and peering in the door window to see if it was inside I finally gave up, but as I drove I kept thinking about it and getting more and more convinced he must have had it. If I was smart I'd have said something like "It was just a small thing, some stuff his Mom sent him of his Dad's. His Dad's passed away. I was hoping someone might have picked it up intending to figure out who's it was." But of course I don't think of things like that AT THE TIME because I'm a CHICKENSHIT. And not a conversationalist. AAAARGH! So now he has himself a nice $600 recorder and Eor's got a stressful fight with UPS ahead of him, trying to get that insurance money. :(
