Oh, man, I'm being evilly loud this morning. Slamming doors (accidently!) and singing (okay, not so accidentally, but I didn't realize how loud I was getting until I was almost done with a verse). This is why we wanted a detached house, not a condo.

Got the students through their class (despite the one's attempts to undermine at every turn) and am now back to my regular schedule. :) Now we've got procedural changes coming out which we'll be teaching to everyone.

In other news, I finally finished the goddamnfucking Green Knight book. Nearly five hundred pages of misery. All these people did was angst about every little thing and we got it reported in minute detail. "He got up. He crossed the room. He pulled back the curtains and looked out the window." Oh wow, he managed to do two things in one sentence, what a stretch.

So, book one of the new year. Will I ever want to read another book again? I'm not sure at the moment. I think I might just read Daegaer's fanfic.

1) Iris Murdoch, "The Green Knight"

Thank goodness I managed to finally pick up a book which amuses me. Book Two of the new year promises, in it's first few pages, to repair most of the damages (though not to give me back the lost time) which book one inflicted. I'm now reading John Steinbeck's "The Short Reign of Pippin IV." :)
