my poor sweetie is sick. :(

(I was really tempted to take a pic of him in his Arthur Dent outfit, but I knew he wouldn't be pleased to be seen at his worst. I think his worst is still pretty cute. ;))

Meanwhile I've taken the car up to Sears in Brunswick to get an alignment and replace the serpentine belt, taken pictures of our work in the cellar, made tomato soup (from tomato paste and canned milk - this recipe needs work; I liked it best before I added spices) and grilled cheese sandwiches (regular haut cuisine when you have to have gluten free bread - I used pepper jack cheese to make up for that), tried to keep laundry moving, read fic, and just generally dubbed around. I should probably have typed up more of my story about Bicky's Chickens, but while Eor was sleeping I didn't want to type. Now I'm debating going to bed because he's there and it's so... restful. My bed. It is warm and cozy, with freshly laundered flannel sheets... in fact, laundered two days in a row because Eor sweated through them last night.

Oh, yesterday I took the car up to get the oil changed (which was when they convinced me that I should do the other stuff) and between yesterday and today I don't know how many bottom layer shirts I've bought for Eor. Long sleeve and short sleeve tees, a pile of them. Is this a Sears marketing strategy? Bring you in for auto work and you'll wander around the store and buy stuff? Crazy sales. I almost bought a shirt for myself, today; it was gorgeous, green with blue and purple swirly things, and I thought it would do nicely under my gray hoody so only a little of it's craziness would show. But then it also had like sequins, and unfortunately I can't be caught dead wearing a sequin. Every shirt I found in a similar style had them. Why do people assume that if you like swirly patterns you'll also like shiny things?

Also, does anyone want a Wolverine and friends calendar? I made the mistake of buying it because we need a calendar and it was only a dollar, but the squares for the days are too small, and the art is just not something I want hanging on the wall. Eor thinks it's bad, but I think the subject matter is not to our tastes. It's too violent and dark.
