I made myself go for a bike ride! It was very short, but it did make me sweat, though I'm not sure if this was mostly terror. Yes, I'm a big sissy when it comes to bikes. I might as well be having a heart attack every minute I'm on one - talk about feelings of impending doom. But I'm trying to convince myself that if I go again, tomorrow, it won't be as bad.
I also then went for a bit of a walk, because I wasn't sure I'd had enough exercise, and discovered that yes, even though my toe had not hurt during the ride (which was why I dug out the bike) it's still frigging not right. :P Ibuprofen is my friend.
And then I came home and had a bath in comfrey... I hope there's no green bits clinging in my hair. It's supposed to be good for your skin. They don't recommend eating it, these days, it's supposed to cause liver damage, though my grandmother used to regularly make a big pot of cream of comfrey soup. Liver damage, ha. (I wonder if I should get tested for liver functions, especially with all the Tylenol and Advil I take.)
And now I haven't put away laundry and dishes, or gone to the library for the next M&C book, but it's time to go. :( I did download an Arthur Conan Doyle book from Project Gutenberg, The Firm of Girdlestone, because I'm still reading the book of his letters and he keeps mentioning it. Haven't yet put it on my Nook.
