Why did everyone post like crazy while I was gone? Missed you all! I vegged and watched tv in the hotel room night before last.
The class yesterday, where I learned all the stuff I'm going to have to teach next week, was teh suck. It was very uncomfortable for everyone, not to mention silly. The Firm is pretending that everyone loves it. They do not, many lawsuits will result, we'll probably have to change our costumes again. I need to shut up. I got a splitting headache during the class and today it came back every time I thought about this.
Amusing to me and the Skipper, though - one of the files on the CD of info we were given for teaching the class is called 'bggr.' Bugger is about it.
On the plus side, though, Eor and I are going apple picking and then to Common Ground Fair with a new coworker of his (M), tomorrow. :) Hawk might go along, but... it's getting late and we have to meet M at 7:30am for breakfast before setting out. M is a complete vegetarian, doesn't even eat eggs, so we have to hope that he can get something to eat at the Sunrise Cafe.
Hawk was big into setting this whole trip up, but a couple of days ago when we spoke he seemed unsure he'll be able to go because of a test on Monday he's feeling uncomfortable about. Eor said he hoped Hawk is out studying tonight, not playing, because if he isn't studying he'll feel guilty and stressed all weekend, so obviously he understands the psychology of my family quite well.
