It's mostly the things I've had to train and the fact that I don't have answers for all the questions which are being asked. And don't think the questions are stupid, they're not, they're very good - I have smart coworkers. Nope, the stupid part is that the upper executives didn't foresee these questions and come up with answers, or actually ask anyone what they really thought.

Then I tried to get a copy of a form from the online personnel site, and found that A) the most recent instance of the form has been saved incorrectly (some idiot scanned the page that tells you all the codes, but not the actual form itself), B) I can't save the form (it says it can only save it blank... that won't do me any good) or mail it to myself (the work email pretended it was mailing, but when I got home there was no email for me, here), C) I don't have the rights to install a printer on the computer I was using, and D) there was no apparent way to contact anyone who might have the ability to fix my incorrect form or otherwise explain to me what earthly use that damned personnel site IS. I spent 45 minutes on this after I was already 15 minutes late leaving work, and then hit a traffic backup on the way home which meant it took 20 minutes to go 2 miles (a four car accident, though it appeared to be quite minor damage).

But then I got home and read some slash and my brother and his mate came home with Indian takeaway for us, and now I have a hot chocolate with rum in it and all is looking much more well with the world. :)

Day after tomorrow is the pumpkin chunking contest! Which I've been so excited about that I tried to make it be last weekend. :) Well, really it's seeing Littleredhead and Groundctrl. :)
