It always used to be my habit to make my entries in the morning and read more online in the evenings, but now I don't have time in the mornings, and when I get home I'm exhausted with looking at a computer, so I read on my Nook. Consequently I'm neglecting the journal. I am learning a lot of new things at work, though.

We've had a snowstorm going here since night before last, and driving to work was slow going yesterday, and probably will be again, today. Plus the added walk because I put my car in the free public garage a block away. Get that? Free public garage a block away? When I lived in Portland I had to walk six blocks for a garage I could pay $20 to get out of. When I went over yesterday I was nervous, wondering if the garage would be open, and then I realized that not being staffed there are no hours it's not open. I appreciate how lucky I am. I even appreciated how lucky I was in Portland because I know there's some places you just can't keep a car, it's too expensive.

Also, I want to say I appreciate snow plow drivers, because they're up all night making sure I can get to work in the morning, even if I do have to drive a little slow.
We got this one holiday card which we can't figure out. It's a photo of three kids at a beach, parents not pictured, and sent from New York State, from (apparently) the area between Otsego and Candarago lakes. We can't make out the last name, and none of the first names seem familiar. In fact, they have Eor's last name spelled wrong, too. Any thoughts?
