If Portland Jetport closes I wouldn't have to go to work, but they NEVER do, it's like a rule. "We'll stay open just so we can say that your flight not going is some other airport's fault." I had to go to work even though all I was doing was teaching a class... and all the students had to come to class. I suppose that's easier than trying to get the scheduler to understand us moving the class to a different day. ;)
There are two young guys in the class I'm teaching who are sons of people who worked or are working here. It feels a bit weird. One is the cocky guy of the class - there's always one, and generally they're good to pick on. :)
Aaand, there's got to be something else to say, since I haven't posted for so long. I'm reading George Manville Fenn's "!Tention: A Story of Boy-Life during the Peninsular War." Frankly, I'm not finding it all that 'adventurous,' really. They keep getting themselves shot and ill, so there's a lot of manly brow-wiping and hand-holding.
