Gosh, it's snowing. Imagine that.
I helped Hawk with one of his school projects the other day, and this evening I was forceably reminded because I had to move it off the counter so I could cook dinner. His class is going to do some work at a men's homeless shelter, and his project was to do a display about frostbite. He asked me if I thought a foot or a hand would be better, and my opinion was that, although a foot might make more sense, it's easier to get a good, recognizable, picture of a hand. So then he got me to draw the hand. I traced his hand and filled in wrinkles and such, it was quite fun. But then we decided to have it missing half the little finger - I think that was Eor's suggestion, and I think it was a good one, but at the same time I keep looking at it and wondering if we might have gone a little too far. It might be a bit too gruesom, because there might be guys there who are in that condition. Possibly the fact that it's an uncolored line drawing might make it a little less so.
Oh, I was going to call Eightball and ask him for the name of the airline and flight number he'll be arriving on. Better do that tonight because if I forget tomorrow it won't get done.
