(no subject)

I don't suppose I know anyone near Philadelphia, do I? I don't think I do. I'm supposedly being sent there for a training thing in a couple of weeks. What I really need to do is to pretend that the other people in the class are friends I haven't met, yet. That rarely actually works for me, I'm very shy and also don't really like most people. What? Most people are either boring or annoying. That's why I prefer to preselect people I want to meet through social media like LJ/DW, where I can at least think we have something in common to talk about. ;) If I know you from here you're probably not boring to me. ;)

Completely unrelatedly, I know it would look horribly pretentious to take my back stretching roller with me, but I always miss it so much while I'm gone. NOT as much as I miss Eor, but a lot.

Uniformed moment... I thought I had myself all together, but was looking for my shoes, turned my head, and noticed that my left epaulette was hanging down, un-shoulderboarded. That would have been a great way to go to work.
