I'm home

Got home yesterday morning, actually, but Eor kept me really busy all day - I guess he was happy I was back. :)

Briefly, classes were interesting, my co-participants were great, but I didn't see anything but the inside of a hotel for a week, so working in the garden and kayaking, yesterday, were good antidotes. Eor says it's gorgeous outside, "the day New England was made for," so I guess I'd better get out of my jammies and go see it. :)

Summer in Maine is so brief that I feel guilty every minute I'm not outside. Eor is working on a project on the deck, the kitchen door is open to the breeze, and the temperature is perfect for either hot tea or iced.

clams!

Our neighbor loves to dig clams, but he's the only one in his family who eats them, so this is the third time he's given us a bunch, and this is a BUNCH. We cooked two rounds and still have as much again left for tomorrow.
