I hope it's full of delightful ice-creams! (Cake is just too hot sounding, today.)
I really have to make a few notes before I forget everything.
Thursday we went to see Vishten - that guy in the middle in their splash picture, Pascal, he's got great stage presence. Doesn't speak great English, but I almost wondered if he was playing that up a little because he could certainly say exactly what he wanted to, and get people laughing. And watching him play fiddle... O.M.G. He did these things where he would make it sound like a seagull, or as though he had a guitar accompaniment, and then give the audience this grin like, "I know you saw what I just did, there." All of which should not be construed as if I think the ladies, Pastelle and Emanuelle, were any slouches! Emanuelle plays like EVERY instrument, and Pastelle convinced me that the most mysterious, romantic instrument ever is the accordion. :)
Friday I went out with Phoebe and some other people - two she didn't really know, they'd all just been the odd ones out while their significant others went to a wedding rehearsal dinner, so being the friendly sort she is she invited them out to hang around in Portland. Anyway, had a great time, and pics are up on Facebook as of this afternoon, so I guess I'm going to have to snag them and repost them, here. :)
Saturday Eor and I went to the matinee of the final Harry Potter with Littleredhead, GroundCtrl, Hawk, and Littleredhead's Dad, which was an all-round wonderful time. Had Indian food afterward, of course - it's a tradition - and then went for a stroll around Brunswick, which is at it's loveliest on a summer evening. :)
Sunday... Sunday? I'm not sure I remember Sunday. Possibly we didn't do a whole lot?
Monday I got the car inspected and had my mammo. :P
