I actually think I've finished the primer coats on that bookshelf and am ready for the topcoat, now. Which I could have done this evening, but... didn't. I also walked a mile and a half on the treadmill.
I haven't been mentioning it, because I don't want to jinx myself, but I've been doing better with the treadmill this month. Partly because I'll jump on it to get myself warm when it's cold around here, but mostly because I've decided that I don't necessarily need to walk fast so long as I walk - I mean, walking at all is better than not walking, right? - so I've been reading as I walk. Eor made fun of me that walking was an excuse to read, but I figure that's fine if it means that I've been on the treadmill six of the last sixteen days. Still not a great average, but better than usual for me. And, I can often hit three miles an hour with an incline of 7 degrees or so even if I am reading, which is not too pokey.
I also finished reading Book Eleven of A Series of Unfortunate Events, "The Grim Grotto," which Eor has put up a review of. I'm so hooked on these right now! We had to take a long break after the first few because we were missing a few from the middle of the series, and I really wish I'd waited to start until I had all of them, because they make reference back to things in earlier books like I'm supposed to remember. I've also been avoiding looking for information or fic or fan community because, oddly, I really don't want to spoiler myself with this series. I'm not sure why, because with most things I suck up spoilers like they were candy. Should I be looking for community? It must have all died out years ago, right? I strongly suspect that by The End I'll be REALLY wanting fix it fic!
