So I'm reading along in "The Penultimate Peril" and I get to the bit where Count Olaf kidnaps Justice Strauss and is described as carrying her under his arm like an umbrella. I kind of paused, thinking how unlikely that sounded. Olaf is not descriped as a large or particularly strong man, and I had pictured Justice Strauss as a big, tall, broad shouldered woman. I have no idea why. I don't think she's described at all in this book, and I don't even recall which book she was first in, to look it up. (I haven't seen the movie.)

And then it occured to me that perhaps I was just making one of those silly associations and picturing Justice Reno. A guy who used to be a friend of Eor's was in the elevator with her one time and that was how he described her - taller than most men, shoulders like a football player. Of course he was most likely stoned, so realizing he was in the elevator stinking of pot with the Attourny General of the United States could possibly have made her seem larger than life. ;)

Then of course I had to go look up the Wiki on her and what do I find out? Janet Reno's father's middle name... was Olaf.

I heard a voice, and I'm here to tell you once and for all, 'cause I'm fully convinced: it's seamless. It's perfect. It's absolute limitless light.
