The cleaning I did last night was just prelude; when I got home from work, today, Eor was already started in on it, and we cleaned until almost 5pm, when the real estate agent arrived. Showed him all around so he could see the improvements we've made - and he could appreciate them, as he's been involved in the sale of this whole building at least twice and also, I think, one of the other units as well.

Afterward all I have felt up for was making dinner and reading a chapter of Jeeves and the Secret of Service by [profile] erynn999 (aka mice1900) WARNING: Dom!Bertie/sub!jeeves - and convincing! I know, can you believe it? It's pretty sizzling if you like this kind of thing, and also very sweet, and by chapter five Bertie's in the mulligatawny up to his knees, so I desperately want to continue reading, but I told myself only ONE chapter tonight and then try to do something useful.

Only, I'm not really up to useful. I was going to type up the next chapter of "Swept Away!," but maybe tomorrow. My shoulders and neck are starting to ache just from this. Tomorrow's my day off! Treating myself to an omelet at Fresh Batch (and hoping the parent/teacher group isn't meeting there again with all the little ones in tow - some of them were adorably quiet, but most were not.) and hitting the library to look for Patrick O'Brian's unfinished last novel, "21". I don't want to buy it, but the library has always let out the exact Patrick O'Brian which I want. Still maybe I'll be lucky this time. (Who are you, mystery rival for library books who causes me to buy all the Master and Commander series??)
