So much laundry left over from last weekend! A lot of clean to put away but the costumes yet to do because Eor's been processing regular clothes all week but leaving the costumes for me to handle. A good few dishes to do as well, and a fair amount of other cleaning. I should probably get busy with a dusting rag. The second Friday of the month never really feels like a day off because we invite people over to read aloud to each other, and I know I have to clean house when I wake up in the morning. I should get it all done early and go hang out for a while somewhere else, but I can never get it all done because I just can't see everything that needs to be done, I'm not good at seeing dirt and clutter, beyond the obvious laundry and dishes.

But I guess these are the natural consequences of having fun. ;) Hanging around fairgrounds all day, drinking by the fire at night - it tends to make laundry, later. :)
Go, find your favorite format on Gutenberg, and read Dead Men Tell No Tales! I thought it was quite a page-turner, and I swear the manly love is barely subtext. There's manly-womanly love as well; both male characters seem to be in love with each other and the same woman.

Also, the concluding line is very strange, and, I think, can be interpreted a couple of ways. )

Other than finishing that I have as yet done nothing that I had planned to do. Yay for days off! ;)

I just saw a yellow-jacket going in under the kitchen door-jamb carrying a fly for it's babies to eat. I was like, "Great, you killed a fly! Damn, where's my hornet spray? Oh, shoot, the actual nest entrance could be anywhere under the deck." I anticipate this won't be fun. And Eor will probably do it, because he's like that - a manly protector. :)
