I'm so psyched that Monmouth Community Players are doing "Wyrd Sisters"! I never thought I would see a Terry Prachett play staged in Maine! ElvenGirl alerted me to this, and asked if we wanted to attend, and I was of course all "Yes, Please!"
But THIS Thursday is one showing only of "Monty Python and The Holy Grail" at a theater - cinema? - in either Damarascotta or Newcastle. Probably Damarascotta, as I don't think Newcastle actually has a theater, though I might be wrong. Littleredhead and Groundctrl invited us, and we're trying to decide if we are well enough to go. Eor is almost completely deaf in his left ear because he's broken his eardrum with this damned illness. The doctor at the clinic thinks it will heal itself, and maybe where he's doing the gluten free diet it might. I hope this doesn't end up with another ten hours in surgery or whatever the hell it was last time. I read most of Mike and Psmith, iirc, which is not a short book.
I also wanted to see Anything Goes at Lyric Music Theater in South Portland, but I'm afraid that might not pan out with everything else. But one of my coworkers is in it. And at least one of the people who worked on the book was P.G. Wodehouse. And I've never seen it. So.
Yeah, so, I told Cyberquail I would post more often, almost a month ago. And haven't really done so. I'm going to try to do better, I swear! But I always mean to do better. I seem to either draw a blank or feel like I have to censor what I say all out of any point in saying it.
