(Phew! I started out at 4 mph and incline of 7 for about a minute, to get warmed up, then increased the incline to 9 and dropped back to 3 mph, because I want to make a mile but I also want to have massive thighs. ;))
My new boss doesn't really start until Dec 2, but he started cleaning out the cube today, which was an education in how ridiculously disorganized The Ogre was. I think he'd thrown out everything that could possibly have been useful and left all the crap that most people who are up to speed with the digital age would consider ridiculous to have printed out at all. New Boss was beside himself, very quietly. He's of the opinion that if we collect signatures for any reason we should scan them.
I also managed to miss my doctor's appointment, this afternoon, with New Boss and new computers coming in. All the excitement drove it right out of my head. I phoned and sounded like I was going to cry (because I was very close to crying) and they made me another appointment, a month off. I have set myself no less than three reminders on my phone for this next one. I think I'm already six months late for this 'yearly' physical, so another month won't matter much. ( snipped for TMI ) But hey, it gives me another month to try to lose weight before I get officially weighed. I don't own a scale, so my weight doesn't change all year. ;)
