Originally he was in at 4:30, I think, and was going to work with someone else for his first hour, but it turned out she wasn't going to be available at all. Now, as my manager pointed out, it would have been nice if they'd just changed him to come in at 8:45 when the class I'm teaching is over with, rather than me having to get up even earlier. But nobody breathed a word that changing his schedule was something they would consider until after my manager had changed mine and left work to attend to his step father in the hospital.
