We've returned from a Carnival cruise to the Bahamas, still alive - but just barely. Eor's shoulder is pulled, he has a raging head cold, I'm getting one, and his Mom (we were on the cruise with most of his family) has gone into the emergency room with a pleural effusion, which apparently is a rather common side effect of the peritoneal dialysis she does. His sisters (who are both nurses) say she's on oxygen and began feeling better immediately.

And a train just came by, which makes me so happy to hear! Sounds of home. :) I get to sleep in my own bed, tonight. :) We get to drink decent water! And not be subjected to constant noise and people and crappy music! (Eor hasn't even put any music on, now that we're home. And he loves music.) It was Eor's Mom's desire to have her whole family with her on a cruise, and since she's been doing so poorly we all acquiesced, of course. (Aside from his brother.) It was a new experience for us, but I don't think we'll ever want to repeat it. Possibly a few words will be following tomorrow about the cruise ship lines poor use of spaces. Right now we're cooking tacos and then going to crash. Have already taken Advil PM.
