Yes, the first people who saw our place, on the first day, wanted it so badly that they made an offer which they only gave us 12 hours to turn around. The 12 hours ran out Thursday at 9am, but meanwhile we'd shot questions back to them regarding whether they could certainly get financing considering that 2 of the 5 units are inhabited by renters. There were other questions we had to get answered for them, and at some point this afternoon we finally got it all ironed out. Since then we've been packing boxes, rented another storage space, and Eor moved all the boxes around in the one we already have, twice, trying to make there be more room.

I enjoy visiting Bub over at the storage place - he has this ridiculously unhurried process he goes through where he has to do all the math out by hand on the top of your contract paper so that you can see it's all prorated correctly. You have the option of visiting with the dog while he does that. Whenever I have to do business there I feel like I wish I could just bring a thermos of tea and a plate of cookies and hang out for a while.

Eor's been looking at what's available for rentals.
