Re-reading "Lord of the Rings" makes me want to re-read Samurai Cat. They're getting near Kazad-dum and I was muttering "Catzad-doom!" in my head and wondering why. Oh yeah. ;) (And of course looking that up has made me realize he has come out with two more books since I last checked - I don't have "Samurai Cat Goes to the Movies" or "Samurai Cat goes to Hell.")
I attempted to impose a FaceBook free evening on myself, today, and was only partially successful. I managed to resist for hours, but then caved to look at my closest family and friends. But while I was being good I did pick away at "Swept Away," and felt a little better about myself, so it was partially successful. At least it proved it's worth as an exercise. My poor story. It languishes for ever longer periods, lately, and I am feeling completely demoralized about my ability to ever finish it. Especially as I keep thinking of more things I want to put in, later, but not more details on things I'm writing NOW, which is what matters. *eye rolls* Every chapter I get more insecure. I have to break this.
