To the talented, admirable and of course always lovely Kryptyd. :)
I absolutely hated the last five hundred words I wrote on my NaNo last night, so I decided to devote the rest of my time back to my Pseudo Victorian Boys' Adventure. :) It's not NaNo rules, I guess, but several people advised me to just start something else if I couldn't write any more on my initial NaNo, and I just didn't really want to start something else at the moment. Do you think that's okay? I wonder if I'm disqualifying myself from winning. But I put out nearly two thousand words this evening - much better than last night. I feel like I can get back on the roll with my PVBA, now, and that was what I really wanted out of this exercise.
Also we went to see the mortgage broker last night and he talks too much but wants to give us money, so that's okay. Very much the salesman, and I just didn't get why he felt he needed to sell us on himself. He's the one going to give us money, right? I mean, seriously, an hour and twenty minutes when he could have just looked at the stack of paperwork Eor had for him and said, "Yup, I like this, I want to give you money." ...? Eor assures me this is because he's acknowledging the fact that we don't have to go with his particular loan, we could shop around, and that just kind of makes me feel like we should, you know?
