Last night we had our fifth person come to the door - a woman got her car stuck in the mouth of our driveway, having lost control on the hill. We got her pushed out and hopefully pointed in the right direction for where she wanted to get to.
The first pair of people was Jehovah's Witnesses, and the second pair was the couple who live next door, just coming up to say "Welcome to the neighborhood," which I thought was absolutely adorable and old fashioned, and is something I'll probably never be able to do. :)
The last two mice we killed were on the 12th, and we haven't seen any sign of more since then, so I think my co-worker was right - he said it would be between 6 and 8. I'm pushing my luck by saying we're done having to kill mice, but I'm holding out hope. I'm so done with the stench of mouse pee. Cleaning up the poop is bad, because it's visible, but the pee... it's everywhere, and when you start scrubbing shelves it starts to reek. Bleach doesn't kill the smell.
