Always nice to talk to Don Jimcito​ on the phone and get his sage advice re the financial mess Mom left to me. :)
I got up to Vassalboro today and did some work on some parts of the financial mess. I miss her, but if she were back right now I'd hug her and then sit down and have a long talk about avoiding shit. And it would go nowhere, because when ever I tried to do that she would cleverly derail the conversation or not communicate with me for a few months because she was REALLY good at avoidance. Ah well, what can you do.
And we expect to get a new furnace and water heater installed - YAAAAY! (It's not great that the other was dying, but yeah... had to happen some time I guess.) The guys showed up an hour before Eor expected them, today, and snowblowed a path around the house to the basement door so they could drop off the parts, with the intention of being here at 0730 tomorrow.
