(no subject)

I must have slept ten hours or so. Eor left for work and turned off the light and I was right back out. When it got light I faded into consciousness, then stretched in bed for a while trying to convince myself to get up... and convince my body to move. Then my ADD kicked in big time and while trying to dress I got distracted by thinking about the mending that needs doing on my clothes, and maybe it would be better to just make a new pair of pants... that way lies madness. And now it's almost 9:30 and I've been looking at Facebook still in my pyjamas and chilled to the bone. Time for a long, hot shower, putting on at least three layers of clothes, and then food.

Maybe then a real entry. I hope. Also, cleaning off my desk, and the chest at the foot of the bed, which is where I put everything the last time I 'cleaned off my desk.'

(no subject)

Well, my big plans aside - I read a large chunk of a trashy novel in the bath, made lunch (because I slept through breakfast AND second breakfast) and have literally accomplished nothing whatsoever so far this day.

The only interesting thing I have to report is that a turkey was out at the bird-feeder not eight feet from the back windows of the kitchen. She appeared to be a female Eastern Wild Turkey, and hung out for about an hour, until I looked at her one too many times. I don't know much about the winter habits of turkeys, but we usually only see one bird at a time here in the winter, and the tracks usually tell of only one bird wandering around in the snow.

(ETA: I meant Eastern Turkey, of course. Eor let me know I had written Easter. Well, if we decide to eat her I suppose she could be for Easter.)
