The noises around this house this morning are weird and wouldn't sound out of place in a horror movie - sliding, thumping and a shluwup-thwupping, which is the only way I can describe a noise that sounds as if it would be made by a gust of wind coming through a crack in the cellar and catching the sheet of plastic which is down there so that it bubbled and would have flapped if the edges weren't held down.

I think it's all down to the wind.
