It's my usual day off, and I'm trying to get a few things done (dishes, laundry) while waiting for this car to be delivered from Vermont. A new 2015 Fiat 500, in blue, which had 23 miles on it's odometer before they started their four hour drive. They will probably arrive around noon, and Eor hopes to be home by 11:30 so he can be present when they get here.

I hope his knee is okay. We guess it's bursitis, but it's extremely painful - started the day after he planted twenty peppers out to the garden. He's getting over it, but was unable to climb Katahdin (one reason we came home from Baxter early) and me needing to drive him to work because we only had one car for the past few weeks has actually been a really good thing, since for at least a week he has been unable to drive. Today is pushing it, and I hope it doesn't set his recovery back, but he wanted me to be here in case he couldn't get home or they arrived early.
I'm not going to subject you to reading a click-bait article, but wanted to post this as a reminder to myself, and because Eor might find it interesting.

Dick York’s Real Reason for Leaving: His departure was never explained on the show, but Dick York had a good reason for it. York tore most of the muscles on the right side of his back while filming Cordura, and never recovered completely. Doctors gave him pain medication, but that wasn’t really a long-term solution.

Enter Dick Sargent: During Season Five of “Bewitched,” a replacement doctor gave York some B-12 when he went in during a lunch break from filming. York had a seizure on set and was rushed to the hospital. He never returned and the show went Darrin-less for a few episodes until Dick Sargent stepped in.

Around a year ago there was a story in "Asimov's" which I would call a fanfic of "Bewitched" in which it is revealed that Darrin was actually a golem of sorts, a created creature given a false set of memories and back pain to give him depth of character, but then he couldn't handle the pain and became intollerable, so Samantha switched him out with another golem.
