I actually got him home Wednesday, and what a long day that was. I was at the hospital for rounds at 10am, and the doctor wasn't entirely sure about whether he should leave, as he had been having a slight rise in temperature that wasn't lasting long. So the doctor ordered blood, urine, and a chest x-ray. Meanwhile, the hospital parking garage was full, so I was curb surfing the 1 hour spots the entire, six or seven hours I was waiting for the doc to feel comfortable.

One of our neighbors was joking that I was going to have to tie him to a chair to keep him from overdoing, because they always say he's the busiest person, but now he's having a flare up of bursitis in his knee and his ingrown toenails are also hurting him, so that's going to keep him from doing too much. I have a very sick boy on my hands, and even though the heart is the most important thing, the others are pretty uncomfortable for him.

Wednesday evening I mostly concentrated on getting the downstairs bedroom (aka dining room) arranged to our liking, so he won't have to climb stairs except when he needs to shower, and getting him his meds.

Yesterday he instructed me in how to change my own tires out for the winter studded snow tires, but I didn't manage to conclude that project until today. Still, it's done and I did it. Now I have to decide whether to do his car, also, or hope to pay someone else to do it.
