reading? Listening to books

#17) "Komarr" Lois McMaster Bujold, read by Grover Gardner: Action! Adventure! Romance! (Or at least a crush, I guess, which meant I really felt I needed to barrel right on into the next book, "A Civil Campaign".) Miles Vorkosigan, now a new Imperial Auditor, goes along to observe a colleague's case, checking out an odd accident, and meets his colleague's niece, Ekaterin, who is (at the start) in a difficult marriage. Ekaterin goes on to do heroic things and impresses him immensely. :)

Now I'm on "A Civil Campaign" (houses full of lovely libraries and cats, what else would a woman want in a suitor? Also, Gardner still does not impress me, sorry. The guy is playing with a kitten, he doesn't just say "Tick tick tick" in such a bland way, that just doesn't play.) and still reading "Great Northern?" (Which has gotten rather tense! The kids are trying to save birds and getting mistaken as chasing deer are now surrounded by 'the natives'.)
