vacation, all I ever wanted, vacation time to get away

Yeah... well. Over the past two days we've gotten a lot of projects on the van done. Yesterday my day flew by as I undid all the bolts on the roof rack Eor had just installed, changed the longer bolts out for shorter ones, and put weatherstripping cord around all the bolt holes. Yes, that's all I did, for like six hours or possibly more. Yes, it was tedious and exhausting. Oddly, given my ADD, I'm pretty good at tedious, and Eor says that when I'm taking on a tedious job it helps him stick with what he's doing and keeps his spirits up.

Today he's trying to make doctor's appointments, get insurance for the cars taken care of and I'm going to do some running around errands. It's kind of pathetic that the first few days of a vaca are actually catching up on jobs you've had to put off. Tomorrow we'll go hiking in the White Mountains. :) And probably be deaded, because we haven't been walking enough.
