For fifteen years I have had two cats. Yeah, I know, just a cat, but to me, such a strong personality.

I'm sorry to hear that.

It's not just a cat. When my cat died she was nearly 20 years old. I'd had her since I was about 5. It was like losing a friend.

I'm sorry to hear about Ginger's death. I certainly enjoyed meeting her, and I understand very well how hard it can be to lose a beloved animal friend.

Exactly. One of my oldest friends. I had her longer than I've had Eor. We would argue sometimes, but we would make up soon, and she was often the one who appologized first.

I think so - she always purred when I walked into the room. She was a very happy cat, despite how she often glared at cameras.;)

You're right about there being no such thing as 'just a cat' - they're all unique, just like people.

I feel a little better every day, but it will probably take a long time to stop feeling like it's odd that there isn't a big brown fluffball lying in wait beside the toilet.
