A gentle reminder, Do-do. Do not set the stove on 'medium,' put the eggs on, then walk off. It may seem like a good idea at the time, but don't do it.
I wonder how the 'gifts' thing I posted chooses the attributes of the gifts(friends). The maker says it's not random, but how did it choose Israeli Matushans? Sapphire Licking_suntans (she is also known as 'girl in bleu,' elsewhere)? Eors a-tickling is quite appropriate.:) Daegaer's a-crunching probably is, too, with all the Pringles she apparently ate the other day.:) But has Afrai ever talked about skating? And I know on Daegaer's I was a-clucking, and on Afrai's I was a-ranting... oh, wait, maybe ranting is appropriate to me. Anyway.
I went out and shoveled snow this morning, even though it's warm today and supposed to rain. It was just so thick at the bottom end of the driveway, I couldn't see that getting much improved by being waterlogged and then possibly freezing, I figured I should move some of it. More had fallen in the middle of the driveway, off the roof, and I began to shovel there, then decided I should first clear the opening so I could get the car out. After doing that I went back to the middle of the drive and found more had fallen off the roof, so decided I'd leave that for tomorrow.
I always bitch and moan about shovelling afterward and before, but I'm always cheerful when I'm actually doing it. I think I like 'honest' work.;)
Of course in one way I was rather silly - I went out having only had a cornchip and a chocolate-covered coffee bean. When I came back in I was so hungry and tired I didn't want to cook breakfast, so I had an apple. After I ate that and recovered a bit I was freakin ravenous, and ate three eggs... and I still want tea and toast with jelly. Hm...
