Just wanted to point out that I believe I have managed to never actually see a production of The Nutcracker. I think I saw some bits on tv, once. Now that I've realized this it might become a goal to continue to never see it. With diligence it might be possible.

(I have nothing particularly against it, or ballet in general, but it's so linked with Christmas in people's minds.)
