I thank you all for your good wishes and support re being late today. I'm not dead, they haven't skinned me, yet! Seriously, I think most of the managers would rather give me a break if they can get away with it because I've been good for nine months, and even the tardies I had back then had perfectly good reason. (IIRC the first was because the entire street I lived on was one big slushy snow pit and I had to alternately buck and shovel my car for a half hour, another day I had a flat tire, and the third day I was in the dr's office with a bladder infection.) But we've got a lot of 'rules is rules' types, who will do what they see they 'have' to even if they know it's no sense to it. They'll just be apologetic while they do it.
It's not like the class missed me, really - Phoebe was there to teach, and there were only two students.
Off to bed now. With allergy meds to get me to sleep so hopefully I'll be well rested tomorrow at 8AM when I go in.
I think I should ask for an 8 to 4:30 regular schedule because I have a medical condition and can't make my brain adapt to changes. :P
