I mentioned on Me-gaynet the comment I made in response to the woman who thought it made sense to 'just catch all the dangerous people' rather than screening passengers on planes - "Well, they can't really do that, you know. Because more people become dangerous every day, as they get angry about events that happen." And a Me-gaynetter responded back to me that if he'd heard me make that comment I wouldn't have a job. I was ... baffled. (Well, and sort of laughed at him - if he thinks he could get my job taken away from me he thinks quite highly of himself.) I mean, I WAS trying to be PC. I didn't sayto her what I think is the real truth, that we're creating more terrorists every day with our actions. I used the very vague "events which happen" phrase. I didn't say "WTF??" to her face. I was good. For me.
One person has spoken up for me, and she's privately emailed me to say this guy generally likes to start fights and then just dissappears when challenged, so it will probably come to nothing.
And in the ADD department, this is pretty cool...
