And soon there shall be food, as well. Yes, I decree it.

Actually, I think I'll just eat the leftover soup from yesterday.

I ache all over, and my neck is ridiculously stiff. I think it's because I went on long walks yesterday and the day before and didn't stretch. Saturday we plan to go hiking, so I think Friday I won't walk. I have decided I'll just leave the laundry and grocery shopping for Friday. But that means I should walk today. Oof. I've stretched this morning, but maybe when I get around to taking a shower I'll feel better.

So, why haven't I eaten, had coffee or taken a shower, even though I've been up since 6AM, you may well be asking? (although you probably aren't, but for the sake of literary whateverness....) The answer is, I've been writing. I know that the premise of the little story I wrote is sick sick sick and I should probably not admit I wrote it, but, well, damnit, I just feel good about the fact of having done some writing. It feels marvelous. I can't explain that. I guess that's the writing for the sake of writing and not really caring what your audience thinks. I might have an audience of about one for this story, we'll see. I'm going to get it betaed before I post it, though.

Oh I love vacation. Although, I just realized last night as I was falling asleep that it's Thursday, my vacation is nearing it's end, and I haven't contacted any of the people I had intended to visit this week. That totally went out of my mind, I've just been selfishly having me-time. I really should just give up the idea of having a life, it's obvious I don't really want to sacrifice any me-time.

I understand the good feeling of being able to write something once again. Might not be the same as that I write poetry but I know how annoying it gets when you're just really uncreative and nothing seems to work, even though you urge to write something.
