"This body climbed Mount Washington." I hiked all the way up Tuckerman Ravine Trail and went to the gift shop at the top, and they didn't have that t-shirt. After we got back down again we went to the gift shop at the bottom and they had one, but the 'this body climbed' part was in miniscule lettering that nobody would ever see. Damn, if I have bragging rights I want it in big letters! It's a 6,288 foot mountain! I didn't glide up it, by any means, and I was depressed by all the twenty-somethings running past us on the way down (if I was in the best of shape I'd break an ankle on those rocks, I don't know how people do that), but in the end I did make it. I hurt, today, but (unfortunately) not so badly that I can't go to work.:)
Tuckerman Ravine Trail is listed among the ten most difficult ascents in the White Mountains. I don't think that's correct, personally - Falling Waters Trail seemed more difficult to me. I was just as sore after doing the loop up Falling Waters, across the ridge and down the Bridle Path a few weeks ago.
(I did it! Mount Washington! yay! :):))

I went sea kayaking for the first time this weekend. It was awesome.
