Everything Old is New Again
I went through a time with this one. Wrote all kinds of history of how they get closer as friends, etc etc, and then didn't use any of it. Well, in my head I guess I did. I suppose I'm using the Roger Zelazney method - he would write whole stories that were never intended for publication.
edited to add I just realized that hour and a half when I was writing... I had forgotten to even pour myself my first morning cup of tea. Why does writing seem towork so well happen so easily when I'm half asleep?
edited yet again to add After taking my shower and re-reading the story I realized I had time tense problems. D'oh - that'll teach me to take my shower and re-read BEFORE I post. Fixed now (I hope), as well as a couple of other awkward words.
