We bought Norm's steak and cheese and fries for dinner. Yum.:9 Completely lacking in vitamins, of course, but luckily some kind person invented one-a-day chewables for fools like me.:)

On the way over I was thinking about why I feel more safe walking around on wet nights. It's probably completely spurious, but I guess I think most people who might be troublemakers are too lazy to go out when it's unpleasant. Then there's the raingear factor. If people are wearing raingear or carrying umbrellas I don't mind walking near them. Somehow I think they're not going to be troublmakers. People who have sense enought to wear raingear also have sense enough to not make trouble, is my reasoning. Also, you look like a dork in raingear - you can't be feeling like a dork and be truely troublesome, right?

Tomorrow we'll be gone all day, in Cambridge visiting with the sweet [livejournal.com profile] matushan! Well, we'll be up at 6am, probably, same as weekdays, and [livejournal.com profile] eor will go to work for a while, I'll get the shopping done (I hope) and then we'll be able to leave here around 9am to get there for noon. The plan is the same as usual - Have Chinese food for lunch, spend the afternoon wandering around to the bookstores, have Indian food for dinner, and then go dancing at ManRay. It's the perfect day, really, you can't improve on that.:) We probably won't get back till 3am, Sunday, and I'll want to sleep half the day and then I'll have to get laundry done, and then our weekend will be over. Don't blink or you'll miss it.

ps [livejournal.com profile] mizzmarvel called me cool. I'm still all glowy.:)
