It is so very cool to feel comfortable and be able to joke around the co-workers.

Yesterday I got to be the dummy for wanding practice.  CG (who's the sweet grandmother of the group), was practicing on me, and after we got through most everything I had to add, "she didn't really clear my underwire bra."  Because it had beeped, and she'd only given it a half-hearted pat.  Probably ten minutes of discussion ensued concerning how hard it is to properly clear my chest area, because I'm fairly well endowed, as opposed to clearing ElvenGirl because she's got a much nicer build (in my opinion), during which ElvenGirl, as our trainer, demonstrated the proper techniques on me.  After sliding her hands between and under my breasts a few times she commented, "and Derien's just standing here going, 'sure, fondle me some more!'"

The guys in the group were the audience for this whole proceeding, and Stovey (I know he hates that nickname but I haven't got another anyone would recognize), added "Mr. Pink would like you to demonstrate that again!"

(I've called Mr. Pink "Saxman," previously, but I think I 'Mr. Pink' better because I liked the explanation that it's 'because he's comfortable in his masculinity.'  He's an older guy, shaves his head, fairly muscular build with that bit of belly that goes just right with that sort of build.  Used to be a boxer when he was younger, and that seems right for his look.  He's also been a saxaphone player all his life, reads Proust and such, and is a Buddhist. Also, always gentlemanly, which is why it's funny for Stovey to make such a comment, because everyone knows Mr. Pink never would. :))

Later, at break, Mr. Anderson was wondering if he'd gotten all the classes he was supposed to get, and Stovey started to drop a few hints about how much fun we'd had in wanding class - "Mr. Pink was thinking about ordering up a drink!"

Mr. Anderson responded immediately and regretfully: "I KNEW I wasn't getting all the training I should!"

I made a show of blushing and wondered if I should offer to be the dummy for all the training classes. ;)  I'm so glad that the EvilWitch (Liza) has gone away so that we can get back to normal interactions without worrying about being written up.  I guess the thing is, my co-workers don't make me feel creepy or as though they think less of me if they say things like that.  I suspect this is because I know them so well that I know they are going to interact the same with me, regardless.
