As I was reading the commentary on Angels Everywhere I realized that I never finished reading the whole story when it was first posted. I'd only gotten halfway through it. It's kind of odd reading a story for the first time with all the comments in it. But I do SO love commentated stories - it's just cool to get a look into the author's mind.

*listens to "So Long And Thanks For All The Fish" two more times.* The only thing I really miss on that website version is that they cut out the big drum lead-up. It's such a perfect old-fashioned movie song - makes me want to put on my old Mel Brooks record, "High Anxiety." I wonder if I could replace that on CD? I miss listing to the Young Frankenstien version of "Putting On The Ritz" and Madeline Khan singing "I'm Tired," and all the rest of it. And now I went and pulled the record out to look at it and can't fit it back into the little cubby-space in the huge old console stereo cabinet where we keep them. Yes, we have a stereo, so hypothetically I COULD listen to the records, but for some reason I never do. Maybe mainly because I usually sit in the kitchen at my computer and the stereo is in the bedroom at the other end of the apartment. I don't know.
