I have sunflowers on my counter. :)  Teena brought them over the other day and declared it Sunflower Sunday. :)  It was such a gorgeous day that we went for a little walk, but then I had to pee and eat, so we came back and watched "Murder By Death."  Damn I find that movie funny, no matter how many times I watch it.  Peter Falk playing a crass, rude, hardboiled, and possibly queer detective is a highlight, for me, but all the characters are great. :)

It was wonderfully warm, yesterday, too, almost 70F, and I should have walked to work.  For some reason I had it in my head that I needed to get to the library and get my overdue book back, so I took the car and ran down there before work.  :P  I should have just left earlier and walked the whole distance, it would have done me good.  It's 50F (10C) right now.

We're leaving for Florida, Saturday, which I have mixed feelings about.  I'm really looking forward to the break from work - reading, resting, a change of scene, and seeing my Aunt S and Eor's Mom and sister.  But on the very down side, Eor's sister is sick - breast cancer.  (We'll be gone for a week, so don't worry about us.)

It's my Dad's birthday, today.  I really should call him.  I think it's not very likely that I will, because I hate phones.  I forgot to call LilSis (co-worker) about bellydancing class on Sunday (and did not go).  I didn't have information to give her, but I should have called her and told her that.

I've been excessively tired - could not wake up all day, yesterday, despite mega-doses of caffeine and sugar.  Red Bull came around handing out samples the other day, so I drank my can yesterday with lots of Halloween candy provided by one of the airlines.  I should have been bouncing off the walls.  I was barely able to keep my eyes open.  Which was unfair to my trainee.  Well, not so bad since he's done this stuff before.  It's just review for him.  Still, I do owe it to the others to try to get myself sorted out.

I'm hoping that was caused by my glasses needing to be updated.  Will call the Optometrist, today.  Um.  I'd better do that soon.  I had interview questions from [livejournal.com profile] daegaer which I was going to do, but I think I need to get moving.
