I haven't read any of you yet today, or yesterday, so if anything is happening which I shouldn't miss please leave me a comment or drop me a line.

My business is good, though.  At least mostly.  Today it's because I've been working on writing, which is a very good thing.  I hope I produce something passable.  At the moment I'm feeling as though it's a little choppy.

Yesterday I didn't read because I went out quite early for breakfast with Teena.  7AM.  And we talked until 9:30.  It kind of sucks because she's going to move away soon, back to Arizona to be with her mom, who she's concerned about.  But we had a really interesting conversation about The Four Feathers and why she found it so moving - basically, and in a very condensed nutshell, because she saw the main character's actions as a rebellion against just following what your family and culture expect you to do.  She's similarly been trying to find her own way and live her own life, and she's running a risk of getting sucked back in by the family expectations if she returns to Arizona.  But, awareness is half the battle, as they say.  I have huge respect for her; it's a tricky road she's taken on, trying to fulfill family obligations and resist their expectations at the same time.

I'm going to miss her.

I'm working upstairs, today - that will be a change.  I haven't desperately wanted to hit anyone for weeks, now.  (Desperately wanting to hang the entire board of directors for several major department store chains can be discounted - that's mass murder, or possibly genocide, and therefore not really personal.)
