(Through [livejournal.com profile] tootsiemuppet):  Crowley and Aziraphale's New Year's Resolutions as written by Neil Gaiman.  Apparently this is promo for another printing of Good Omens.  (Yeah, but GNeil, when's the sequel coming out?  Just have [livejournal.com profile] daegaer write it for you; she actually does better at the characters than you and PTerry. ;>)

Aaand, speaking of [livejournal.com profile] daegaer - she's written me some Christmas wishlist fic!  I'll bet the neighbors could hear me squee!  *dances*

Also, we went to see Goblet of Fire, which I thought was really good, and [livejournal.com profile] eor thought was really good but not as good as the previous movies.  And oddly enough, it was chock full of slashy bits, but they eliminated the whole bit about Harry knowing that the "thing that is most important to him" which they've taken is Ron, and being willing to take the chance on Neville's gillyweed for Ron.  As it played out in the movie he didn't even know Ron was down there.

But, I've got to admit, I never was at all interested in Cho Chang before I heard her speaking.  Gah!  Asian girl with Scottish accent = yum!

Oh, and we happened to see FIL on the street outside the theater before the show.  He greeted [livejournal.com profile] eor with a yell - "Nice looking woman you're walking with!" and of course [livejournal.com profile] eor ignored him and kept walking.  It doesn't pay to give attention to the people who yell at you on the street in Portland - it just encourages 'em.  I've told FIL that before.:)  But we did stop and go back to speak with him when I realized he was doing a convincing imitation of a kicked puppy.  He had just met an Irish girl in the Old Port and offered to give me her email address so I'd have a place to stay if I went to Ireland.  I would not know what to say, cold emailing some random Irish girl!  I don't know how he just meets people that way, and can talk to them - and he seems to think anyone can do that.  Sheesh.

Now we're home with barbecue chicken and soon it will be time for me to try to figure out how to wrap those presents for [livejournal.com profile] eor.  *is happy*  I love wrapping presents for Eor. :)
