I wish I could remember to post about weird dreams when I have them.  You can just skip this post if you're not a fan of reading about other people's dreams.  I've generally enjoyed it.  My brother and I used to kill the morning telling each other our dreams over breakfast. :)

(When I wrote most of this to my friend in email last night I was thinking it was more recent, but time goes by so fast.  This dream must have been over two weeks ago by now.)

I was with the Scooby-Doo gang on a train that was all tricked out like a funhouse, except the fake monsters in the funhouse... were real monsters.  Not Scooby-Doo monsters.  Real monsters pretending to be fake monsters.  At one point a whole gallery of wax soldiers started shooting at us.  (A shooting gallery is usually a game at a fair where you shoot with a b.b. gun at little rubber ducks or balls bouncing on top of columns of water.)  Then I got chased out the end of the train by one of the monsters, which was gray with three arms and looked sort of like a tree.  But he could run.  I bounced, then ran and caught up with the train and I ended up climbing along the side of the train like Jackie Chan, but he was right behind me.  That's where I woke up.

Remember the Canadian cabin thing that some fangroup started?  Put the characters alone together in a snowed in cabin?

About a week ago I had a dream that Hugh Laurie, Stephen Fry, and Fry's assistant (who, in my dream, was a guy I used to work with) and I were all trapped in a house by a blizzard.  Stephen and his assistant went off with sleds, trekking through the snow to bring back help, and I got left at the house with Hugh.

That must have terrified me, because then I woke up.  The whole thing surprised me, because I didn't think I was attracted to him in the way that seems to be indicated by that dream.

Then only a few days ago I had a dream where Hugh Laurie had been turned into a zombie, or possibly it was a pod-person-thing-zombie made to look like him.  Either way I had to smash his head in with a sledgehammer.  It was rather upsetting to me.

Now... off to work.
