As I mentioned, possibly cryptically, in my last post, I've been having problems with my LJ where quite often I'll click through to view one of my own posts and I can see the things around the edges of the page, but the text of the post is completely invisible until I highlight it.  Or I'll go to the friends page and there'll be huge blank spaces in the text areas until I scroll down and then back up again.  Does anyone else experience such problems when interacting with my LJ?  Or is this all on my end?  Because I don't care so much for myself, but I'd hate to be inconveniencing other people.  It seemed to work okay when I first chose it, so I think it could have to do with changes LJ made, but for all I know it could have to do with my computer not wanting to refresh properly.  Only I don't notice such problems when hitting most other people's journals.  Just wondering if I should go style-shopping again.  It's probably something one has to do every now and then, as LJ changes code.

In other news, yesterday morning, half awake, I grabbed a blunt pair of scissors and hacked off my bangs and ... fringe? Is that what you call the hair in front of your ears? (see comments) sideburns, I guess  Having curly hair is good for something - it hides a multitude of evils as far as haircuts are concerned.  A co-worker said it was probably better to do that when I was half asleep, because then my subconscious was doing the cutting, and my subconscious knows exactly how I want it.

Also, I had to close the windows because I was too cold.  Too cold.  I think I need a hot shower.  But now the air feels too still.  I may just have to open one a little.  You know there are a lot of people in Maine who will sleep with the window in their bedroom open at least a crack all winter because they just feel they need the fresh air.
