Windows wanted to do updates this morning, and I let it. Now my Explorer looks all different. I find this profoundly annoying. If they've got some amazing new feature that they want to showcase, well, if it's THAT amazing they should be able to just add one more button to my bar, right? But I'm thinking hard and I can't think of any functions that I really needed. Maybe next week I'll be going, "I don't know how I ever lived without this!" but I doubt it.
My favorites are still there, and the things I put in by hand, I'll survive. Sometimes I feel like an old person, not wanting the look of things to change. Still, people form habits for a reason - it saves time to not have to be figuring things out each time you do them.
Okay, enough grousing. Time to shower and pack my lunch. Oh, and do some dishes if I can. No car, today. 37 degrees... hm. Yeah, I think I'll walk. If I can get my butt out of here ON TIME.
