Oh, ACLU - sorry! - is the American Civil Liberties Union. Anyone who feels that their particular group is being systematically discriminated against can apply to them for legal help, which is funded by donations. Which is why I said I would send them money rather than a card. :) At some point everyone feels that the ACLU is doing 'the wrong' thing, because you can't please all of the people all of the time. If you take any stand (which they will - any stand that needs taking) you'll piss someone off.
